Server help

Well i am trying to get my own serve up and i know i have a router and i know the server wont work cuz of it.  Please help me disable the router or what ever

****who ever helps with this will get a high admin level, (u have to help a lot though)*******

hehe...disable your router?

if you search this forum or the site before you ask such questions you'll probably find your answer, and if not, at least you'll be able to make a post that makes sense...
