At the moment, yes. There's only one new sound, so I check for "snow" or "w_metal1" in the texture name. I'm going to stick with that kind of scheme for now. Custom textures with fitting names will probably get the appropriate sound assigned. Like if you name them "somemetaltexture" or "somesandtexture", they would get metal and sand sounds. If you name them something like "mytexture1" and "mytexture2", though, they would just use the default sounds. Flags and brush shapes/sizes may also come into play in the future. Like, is this wood texture on a thin sheet of wood or a thick pole?
