Flag-Cap setting change
« on: June 06, 2006, 08:00:05 AM »
Hi,

I'm wonderin' how I can change that Flag-Capture setting, like I need my own falg to cap and I can cap even if my flag isnt at home, or if both flags are taken, round ends with 2nd cap, round ends with any cap, round never ends by capping ETC.

I know that are alot of commands, can anyone summ them up?

If flagcapendsround is set, the round will end if somebody captures while nobody else is carrying the flag.  If somebody else has the flag, the round continues.

From my experience, these settings work best on pub servers:
flagcapendsround 1
flagmustbeatbase 0

I am attempting to set the cap to not end the round, but everytime I set it the thing reverts. I set my public config and used the in game command.

When I enter it without a variable it confirms that the setting is zero. But it still ends it every time on a cap.

Thoughts?

yeah, tried set and seta, and as I mentioned the odd part is it reports that it set to zero...yet it still keeps on ending it.

Once you have it changed, did you restart the server?

Yeah, I think  it is resolved now, just didn't type cvar, etc. in game, though not sure why it didn't work when putting it directly in the config.
