Well I would never play on any of Henrod's servers simply because there across the US from me. You saying that's different from this one? If there's already 4 match servers, and 1 speed server located in Texas, then why is another one needed? Yeah people in California won't have great ping, but there's no need to complain about it.

People get servers in Toronto because the company has good support, pre-configures servers sold by the slot and because those buying either don't know how to use Linux or don't want a whole slice of a server.

And I haven't noticed the Canadian servers pinging all that badly. They ping about the best for me on the list.

I have received requests to match on ij simply because of eR33t kicking them.

I ping 22 to Henrod's server. I also don't think it is fair for Americans to play on those servers. I ping 22 then ping 122 on the east coast. Servers in texas (er33t servers) seem to be the fairest.
