Ever have one of those days where NOTHING works? It started last night when I was up until 6am trying to get CVS to work with sourceforge, and it's still bleeding into today.
Something went screwy with my online todo list, and it was deleting stuff on its own, so I went to install the SSH client to log in and figure out what was going wrong, but the ssh client wouldn't install because, "The InstallShield engine IKERNEL.EXE could not be launched. Error loading type library/dll." So I googled around and found a page that said to use IkernelUpdate.exe to fix it. I tried that and got the exact same error. The installer for the installer fix was broken, too! So I find another cause is not having STDOLE.TLB in the system32 directory, and that I should copy it from another machine with the same operating system. Well, I was indeed missing it, but so were the other machines with the same OS! Argh!
