i have Ubuntu 10.4 and i love Paintball 2 but i cant play ir i donwloaded it but when i click to the icon Paintball 2 but never starts it dont do anything ... please Help im new in Ubuntu and i dont know much about it

its in a tar file. so right click on it extract it. and after double clicking on the file,  wait for a good 10 - 30 minutes, the game compiles  for your  kernel in the back ground and you won't know till its done. then after that it will be quick.

Yeah, while it compiles, you should make sure not to double-click the icon again.. Like vLaD said, it'll be done when it's done, so don't "provoke" it.

hmmmm ok it runs goood but i cant play multiplayer Why??? i cant conect to the internet with paintball console command??? please

what commands are you using.

and also does regular internet work?

Do you get an error message when you try to play multiplayer?
