Delay between clicking and gun shooting
« on: March 20, 2006, 08:13:49 AM »
Whenever I click the mouse to shoot, the gun always fires about 0.5 seconds after I click.  Is this supposed to happen for all players?

Because if it's just me, I have such a disadvantage. :(

what server you were playing on?
Maybe it was just a lag

....or maybe a high ping is the cause of it.

isn't a high ping and lag the same?

Minabii, try not running any other programs when you play the game, especially things that may use up bandwidth such as file sharing programs, and perhaps instant messaging programs.

what is the speed of your internet connection?

Prob high ping check it, I am only playing on dial up at present, not betting BB till the winter, the best thing I have found is if you are playing on dial up:

Plan you shots a little in advance if you can, try and predict the other teams move, of course in crazy fire its not possible.

If many of your team members have a lower ping than you try not to get in their way, try being back support etc, of guarding the base.....it will not slow them down.

Try a more steady approach to your attack rather than a charge.

All these things have helped me as I have a high ping at present
