i have a new channel named #team_outlawz and i was woundering how to set a topic with color. like [CC]'s i just want to know how to get colored words. i have used Ctrl and k to get the color index to come up. but i dont know if it worked and if im doing it right

if your using the Java irc from dplogin.com, then I don't think its possible to make colored topics for a channel. To make a topic with colored words, you need to get the www.mirc.com  mIRC and then it would save your words and you could see how your topic looks like step by step.

To get coloured words with a coloured background you do
CTRL K 4,1
This would make the letter writing in the colour 4 (red) and the background colour 1 (black)
If you want to keep the same background, but change the text colour, you can either do the following:
CTRL K 15Text Here -- meaning the text would be colour 15, light grey,
or, CTRL K 15,1Text Here -- but this waste characters...

Thats somewhat the basics, so for example...

CTRL K4,1.Team-OutLawZ. CTRL K15RecorD. 0:0 CTRL K4StreaK. 0
