whenever I join jump maps it never download the textures so the maps are only white and grey...

What map are you trying to play?  It has custom textures that the server does not have.  It might be using CTP textures, or it could be some Quake2 jump map.

Quake 2 jump mod and the other 2 jump map have messed up textures

Hi, I know that when I played on some random jump server (not OTB, ic3y, etc) I got this message all the time and ended up playing the map with the default grey and white texture. However, when I played on ic3ys Q2 JumpMod, I got all the textures downloaded - only downside to this was that it took around 3 minutes just to download

Yeah, those are Quake2 textures.  They're not part of this mod, and, technically, not legal to redistribute.  The only thing you can do is get custom-made replacements or get Quake2's resource files.  Problem with using Quake2 is that the textures use a different palette than Paintball2, so they look all messed up.

Edit: Or just don't play on servers running Quake2 jump maps.

Those error messages are one of my pet peeves.

Gaggerzon, you will run into this issue often with jump maps and occasionally with normal maps. It just means that the server doesn't have the texture the map needs. Sometimes this is because of what jitspoe said, and sometimes it's because the server admin was lazy when adding the map to the server.
