OpenAL32.dll not found

After several years of inactivity I decided to re-install this game, however, after doing so I received this notification.  I re installed it, twice, but the problem still persists.  Any solutions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Either disable 3d sound in the config file or install Open AL.

Open AL:  http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Downloads/oalinst.zip
