fov binding
« on: June 22, 2006, 02:19:29 PM »
Would it be possible to make binds on mouse3 to when i click it, it goes to fov 70, then if i click it again to fov 50, then if i click it once again it goes back to fov 100?

That would be a handy zoom feature.  :D

Yep.

Code: [Select]
alias zoom0 "fov 90; bind mouse3 zoom1"
alias zoom1 "fov 70; bind mouse3 zoom2"
alias zoom2 "fov 50; bind mouse3 zoom3"
alias zoom3 "fov 100; bind mouse3 zoom0"

bind mouse3 zoom1

Typing it in the console will add it to your config file, anyway, so it doesn't really matter which way you do it.  To open your config file, just right click on it and go to "open with" then select wordpad, notepad, or whatever editor you prefer.

You can also copy it here paste to the console.

for others who dont get that binding, heres how i would do it and its 10x easier in my opinion

bind <key> "fov ?"   the quotation marks work for anything you want binded to the console say for example my sky bind

bind l "sky pbsky2"
