Or at least, it would seem that the 'teleport' flag does. I have a rather large train that moves arcoss a rather large area (about 8 path_corners, but they're all in a line). The last path_corner has the teleport flag set, and it's target is the first one.
Here's what happens: The train spawns correctly and all, goes down the line of path_corners, reaches the far one, teleports to the first one, teleports back to the last path_corner, then starts to chug along towards the first one, as if it had never teleported.
What's happening?
