Bug?: Footstep Loop

This came from the uninstall survey:

whyuninstall: you kept hearing the sound of footsteps loop

Anybody familiar with that bug or what it might be referring to?

Sometimes when I alt tab out of the game for a second then alt tab in a sound Will repeat and repeat over and over again but it's not always a footstep sound. It could be "omg they killed kenny" if someone died. And on menus occasionally, just restarting the game usually fixes it though.

It used to happen with java when the update would ask for administrator privileges and interrupt

Do you know if there's a consistent way to reproduce it?  You just have to alt-tab right as a sound starts playing or what?

that happens to me too, just hit esc and go to settings>audiosetup> then hit apply and it will reconnect the sound or something. idk it just works.
