The items need an high-res-update :D

If we get higher poly weapons, wouldn't that automatically give us newer textures for them?

Not the weapons, the items.

- ammo
- barrel
- co2
- flag
- grenades
- hopper
- pongball (maybe add a few skins ?)
- paintballs ? (but not very important, they are in a normal game too fast to see details)

Are you just talking about textures or do you think they should be remodeled to have more detail, too?

Ah, while I'm thinking of it, do you mind if I add the mesh around the paint grenade since we have alpha maps?

Textures are enough :D

Maybe the pongball model needs an update, the other models are good for the next ? years.

Maybe the paintballs can have patterns on them, maybe images. Maybe people can choose a picture to put on the ball.

You can actually implement high resolution items just like for textures... Create a hr4 folder in the folder of the texture and put the hr4 texture in... And its done!

Just have to do the textures...

That's what the vote is for. :)

The high-res textures will likely be paired with the high-poly models, since they will likely have different UV maps, anyway.
