i wanted to make it so a song plays on a map, but every time i try it, i get this message "song.wav is a stereo sample" and it doesnt play. i have the target speaker targeted by a trigger_always, and i want the song to play in the whole level. any ideas on how to work this?

Maybe you have to use mono samples?

yeh right, it has to be a mono .wav file, because the played sound is only hearable to the speaker, which is on the side where the tarket_speaker is. yeh yeh, something like this.
I tried it also, and had the same problem. then i converted it to a mono sample and it worked.

BeeThink MusicHandle

If you have it installed, you can right-click on the music file, then Convert to..., Options..., WAV, Others Format, something with mono, OK. Then angain right-click, Convert to..., WAV. and Done

You can even use sndrec32 (default windows .wav player).
