but legitly, theres always active members who can be trusted with relatively menial responsibilities. in most of these people's cases it wouldnt even be a risk, just simple delegation.

EDIT: We really need moderators/committee members from Asia, Australia or NZ. It is for every time region there is an athourity.

Well, Asia is an especially large continent so we'd need moderators from Japan, India, and Iran general time zones if that's what you want. East Asia has similar time zones to Australia so if that's from where you are, then Rick would probably be chosen over you.
