Webhead was getting a mediawkik thing set up, but then he disappeared.  I'll see if I can track him down.  Maybe what he's done could at least serve as a starting point.

I remember him showing it to me at one point, but his site appears to be 'down', so I can't exactly find it.  What happened with the one on this site?

Yeah, registrations were disabled when the spam bots attacked.

I recently set up a doku installation on my personal site and I must say, it's a magnet for spam bots. Tried the reCAPTCHA plugin, but still had bots getting through. Got rid of that and tried the other CAPTCHA plugin that is widely used, and along with tweaking some doku settings, that seemed to do the trick.
