Is it possible that Kendrick Lamar is at the top of Rap right now? With a single song, hes manged to take over 2015. The blacker the berry:

Hes the KING of rap at the moment. No doubt about it. Not one rapper is even close to his level at the moment. Hes manged to heat up the game with just a verse: Control verse. He released the [IMO amazing song] 'i' which won 2 grammy awards and now released its dark counterpart. I doubt it will win a grammy; since the grammy's has a trashy voting system, for example when Kendrick Lamar should of won the 'Best rap' for grammy's last year but went to Macklemore even though hes a HIP-HOP artist; not a Rap artist. Even he admitted that Kendrick Lamar should of gotten that title. Aside from that, Im pretty sure no one right now can beat that song. Maybe Jay Z, Nas[If he really wanted to], Em, J.Cole[Doubt it]. Anyone else? nope.
Now about this song: The Blacker the berry talks about racism, hypocrisy, black on black violence. Who's more fit to talk about this? Knowing Kendrick Lamar's background the fact he was born in Compton is enough. In his prime hes talking about politics and giving out messages to the mass; most rappers failed to do that. Actually, Rap was always about this, look at Pac he did the exact same thing. Rap has always been about talking about politics/messages to the mass audience so that they can absorb it. So that they can feel it and not just hear it. Nowadays rappers just talk about: Women, Drugs, Money, detective, kitty. Nothing more. Its actual sad. Since this is like the complete opposite of rap. I mean rapping about women and drugs and money and kitty isnt always bad but its now what everysingle song consists of. It should be the least; not the most.
As for me: Im just waiting for the new album to drop. Im sure its going to be Platinum.
