Streaming DP2
« on: March 10, 2015, 09:12:16 PM »
Hey!

With Flawless eSports (see post in other section) starting out, our focus is League of Legends. But we wont forget about our favourite game, DP2. Even though DP2 isn't that active, we will still play it when we can. Unfortunately I'm busy most Sundays with work so I can't play in a lot of the tournament play, but the times I do play I plan on streaming.

So I'm wondering - (mainly at JMR/Proza who stream dp) - what settings do you use? I find it's hard to get good quality without lagging in DP. But I stream other games fine. Do you guys adjust settings for DP? If so, which?

Thanks for any help!

Please check out and follow my stream!

DP doesn't need any adjustments, its just some basic fps settings (OBS).

Usually, if you don't have streaming op machine (and really good internet) you wanna aim for bitrate around 2k, using 2200 atm + custom buffer (the lower, the lesser chance for dropping frames, running 1k custom buffer now). And probably 2nd and last important setting is in Advanced (assuming you are using OBS) x264 preset, use Fast + encoding quality High, because it helps your quality a lot

EDIT:I am at lecture atm, i can help you set it up through steam for example if you want. SShoting my OBS settings, I am pretty proud at(no idea what word to use lol) my steamy quality ^^
