the crouching jump?

In my years playing this game, I've never seen this
Has anyone else?
Is this a glitch or is this a technique a person could actually learn to use?
Wyze doesn't know how he did it either, we were just f***in around in a match server

edit: he does it during the little close up battle at the 19 min mark

Well, you can sometimes maintain speed in a crouch, so I don't see why it wouldn't be doable with the right timing.

It kinda looks like he takes off from the crouched position, idk it weirded me out but it's so cool I wonder if it's something to learn.

Well, I haven't seen anything like this before... I'm not sure how that happened.

That would make sense for some kind of ramp jump, perhaps, but this happened on flat ground.  I'm not sure how you could jump AND crouch at the same time.

I'm glad this wasn't just some glitch on my screen. How cool is that though? Maybe the most difficult technique to master in this game?

Imagine ripping through the air off an ice jump being able to be crouched as you fly, you'd be impossible to hit haha

Depends on if the collision is actually crouching, or if it's just playing the wrong animation...
