lol it's not the aol service only the browser, i have roadrunner. the only reason i use the aol browser is because i like the tabbed browsing, otherwise i use ie.

Mozilla Firefox also has tabbed browsing, and is 100x more secure.

Opera is very good too, but you'll find that firefox extensions are highly addicting.

Yeah, Opera's tabbed browsing is a lot faster.  Firefox tends to have long load times and often gets stuck in memory for me.  But it's still better than IE.

There are several ways to speed up the load process. Use the about:config feature from the address bar.

Yeah, I've tweaked it, but it seems to load things in the same thread or something, because the whole interface will freeze up momentarily, making it difficult to go and open a bunch of tabs, whereas Opera will let you open as many tabs as you want almost simultaneously.
