We'll never be able to travel back in time.
That's not to say we won't be able to "look" back in time, just not physically go there.

If we could ever go back in time, we would have done it, and we would surely know about it.
Yeah yeah that whole "keep it secret" & "doon't mess up the past" thing. But from the moment traveling back in time is invented, till the end of time, is a pretty long time (I would think). The odds that someone, or even something, would come back and time and mess up something, or let its time travel be know, are pretty high I think.

Of course I would want me to bring me the results of every sports event and every lottery drawing. I also want me to bring me accounts of every major natural disaster. THEN i'd be set.

From my understanding, you can potentially speed up, slow down, and maybe even stop time, but you can't reverse it, so going back and visiting yourself would be impossible.  My understanding is pretty limited, though.

as speed increases, mass increases and time delays (from what I understand). So, you'd have to be faster than light and have a greater than unlimited mass in order to slow the time down enough to be reversed, I guess. Pretty senseless stuff :)

But according to Einstein, you can't go faster than the speed of light, so you can't go back in time.

I thought at the sub atomic level we have produced particales in a vaccum that are thought to have traveled faster than light. IDK could have been propraganda by Nasa or government as Pink has pointed out. This would have been in late 80's early 90's
