Funny thing that 666 is a sacred number in many religions, and then some protestants claimed that its the number of the beast because pope Vicarius Filii Dei's name in Roman numerals adds up to 666. (VICIVILIIDI)
I like how Hollywood has Christians using it as a sign of evil now too.

People need to read up on symbology and iconography before they try to use icons that they have no idea the meaning of.

To me its mathematical use is sacred, a mockery of nothing, as it is in some other religions too. Many icons that are sacred to some are spit on by others, such as the swastika, suwastika, pentacle, the sunwheel, fylfot, sowilo, etc... I blame the Nazis for giving most of these a second meaning which is bad, the rest can be blamed on religions seeking dominance by making other religions look evil.

666 is an abundant number. It is the sum of the first 36 natural numbers (i.e. 1 + 2 + 3 + ... + 34 + 35 + 36 = 666), and thus a triangular number, and the sum of the squares of the first seven prime numbers (i.e. 22 + 32 + 52 + 72 + 112 + 132 + 172 = 666).

I got wiki(ed).  ;D Sweet!

To you. Sure.

To others. Perhaps.

To all. Death.

Why?

Because Jesus and Hiroshima told me so!

Sorry old pal I had to mention your name in that song. We cool lord? Sweet! You are an awesome god. To me. Now I can walk around with out the weight of the world on me because it was lifted off because I am forgiven now of the pressure I put on my self for having being raised with parents who taught me by example ethics, manorisms, morals.

Until we become hungry. We will always become more work.

Then it was man vs man vs beast vs nature (21 phases of matter, oh how ironic the number) vs man vs himself. Which is signified in the equation 1 + 1 + 6 + 21+ 1 + 1= 31. Do you have any idea what this number symbolizes! Look at the star from David. They have nothing in common except Uranus and my intrest.

"Death is light as a feather and duty is heavy as a mountain"

Logically speaking religion is speculative at best. Ironically we Humans are not all 100% logical or accurate when it comes to speculating about the unknown.
