Server crash
« on: February 25, 2007, 11:17:17 AM »
I have a weird problem with my server. It randomly crashes and I'm not sure why.

could anyone tell me why it does this or how to fix it?

I think it's an entity that's outside the map boundaries or something like that.
It must have something to do with "item_health_small", whatever that is.

On what map did that happen anyways, and how many people were playing?

Is that a map you made recently or is it a known map? (I do not play on any jump maps, so I don't know which one are new and which are not :P)

It's a Quake II jump map. Thats why it has a health entity. Paintball doesn't use health.

That might be the reason.

We had problems with jump maps like that one crashing the GRaFFiTi servers in the past as well... We just removed them and no more problems.

We're not quite as happy as you about it, killswitch. Paintball is for playing paintball. If you want to jump, play Q2jump.

That's why people have their own servers like Killswitch...so he can play what he wants on it. He was just asking for help no need to get off topic.

It's not a paintball2 map.  Don't expect it to work with paintball2.  If you want to run jump maps, grab the jump mod and set up a server with that.
