pb messed up.

Well,don't really know how to explain.I just start.

Ok me and a friend were playing together.Everything worked fine.At the end of the 2nd map something strange happened.My screen frozed for 2-3 sceonds.After that i couldn't move anymore.I tried going forward ,backward,right left.Nothing helped.i chekd my configs and everything was normal,nothin' strange.
it was just impossible to move.i could jump and use the mouse but nothin else.
So i Started to jump at the same spot ,hoping that it will get better.
My mate asked me " what's the matter".when i tried to respond(pushed t for default chat) again..nothin' happened... I couldn't even see "Say:".
So i tried to write something into the console.For each letter i wrote there just  came up  a "?".like ? ? ? ? instead of what.

I disconnected from the server.came back and nothin changed.

what the *** happened ?

The 'not being able to move' part sounds like you lagged out completely. The ?s, I don't know.

Were you using a funname with bold/italics/underline?

nope.I didn't use anything like a funanme or so.

eiii:I didn't lagg out.I was able to jump and move the mouse.

Could you see other people moving? You can still move the mouse and look arouund when you're lagged out, but I haven't heard of jumping.

did you check the config file inside the game? bring up the console and type "bindlist" and see if your binds are still there. I believe "~" is a hard coded bind to avoid re-binding it as something else.

What server was this on, and if you just start a game on your own, does it still do it?

My problems are gone.dunno why andthat's not the first time this happens.they come and go....and i get like once or twice a week problems with public chat and son on  ;-/

Next time it happens, take a screenshot and record a demo.  It might be easier to figure out what's going on then.
