Great LAN Event on the East Coast.
« on: August 15, 2004, 10:17:55 PM »
Hello all..  Just surfed on in and was checking out your website..  I am with TheGXL and figured I'd jump in to tell you about our 512 MAN LAN event coming up this October.  Currently we are ramping up to give every gamer an experience you could never forget.  There are TONS of mega LAN competitions in the United States so TheGXL is pushing towards the biggest garage LAN ever on the East Coast instead.  Just come on out and have a great time!  --- Sure there will be tournaments, but we don't feel like 4-5 people should be the only ones to benefit from $10,000 in cash.   80% of gamers in the industry are made up of regular gamers like me who do not game on a professional level.  So rather than cater to the minority TheGXL is putting together a LAN that’s geared towards something EVERYONE can enjoy.

44,000 Square Feet of Clean Prestigious Garage Environment
Seating 552 gamers in BYOC section of garage
Professional Intelligent Lighting, Sound System, and Stage
Professional Audio Video content featuring two 9'x12' projector screens
Massive 10'x15' projector screen backdrop to our stage
4 Structured Tournaments - Professional Tournament Room
Partitioned - Sound Dampened Spectator arena
Lots of Entertaining Side Games
Full Grill Menu Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner onsite at the event
Pallets of discounted Bawls, and other HIGHLY discounted beverages
Catered Gamer Lounges with Consoles/DVD Players linked to Projectors
Great Sponsors
TONS more.....................

All proceeds benefit Millville Rescue Squad and First Responder Emergency Medical Services.

Hope to see you all there.  Come check us out when you get a chance at http://www.thegxl.com ...  Registration opening mid-end /of August.

**Sign up for our forums at http://www.thegxl.com/forum/ to add yourself to our mailing list.  We will send you details about the event and notify you when registration is available.  **

(Any features listed are subject to change without notice at any given time.  As of now all highlights for the event have been confirmed.)

We are just a little more then a month away from New Jersey's most exciting LAN ever! As we get closer and closer to the big day, TheGXL has more and more great things to announce! Some things you might have missed:

ATI Technologies Inc. has joined forces with TheGXL LANs to host the tri-state area's most exciting and explosive event to date. ATI will be bringing onboard tons of cash and hardware prizes for the October 22-24th event. As well, with ATI co-branding, you can ensure this event will be the event to be at this October!

ATI GXL LANs would like to announce cash prizes for the Unreal Tournament 2004, Counter-Strike, and Call of Duty Tournaments. Each tournament will have a grand purse of $1,500 in cash, as well as other various prizes such as hardware. The cash prizes for these tournaments will be issued to first place for $1,000 issued to the team, and to second place for $500 issued to the team. An official prize list which will include all details and a breakdown of first, second, and third place prizes will be released closer to the official event date. Tournament rules can be found on the event info section of TheGXL Website.

We are also pleased to announce the GXL Battlefield Vietnam Tournament presented by Chenbro will have a grand purse of $1500 in cash.
