why wont my game work

I have windows xp with a custom built computer that is defenitly up to date with everything and all the drivers are the latest and when i start the game now it says make sure you have an open gl cable or lastet drivers.  Why does that error messege pop up?? please help!

RE-DOWNLOAD the new drivers.
Double-check that you have OpenGL

And make sure that your video card it connected to the computer.

What type of video card do you have?  You need to go to the ventor site (probably http://www.nvidia.com or http://www.ati.com) and download the drivers there.  Default windows drivers suck and usually don't support OpenGL.  If you are unsure as to what video card you have, right click on "My Computer" go to Properties | Hardware | Device Manager and click the
  • next to "Display adaptors"
