RSS Feed

By KnacK's request, I've added an RSS Feed to the forums.  Note the link on the menu up there.  Just put that link in your favorite rss reader and you'll be able to see the most recent posts.

Got an RSS feed on the main site now, too.  You might have to shift+reload for the link to show up -- should be in red, right next to "News."

I also found a pretty cool RSS reader extension for mozilla/firefox -- http://sage.mozdev.org/ -- you just create a bookmarks directory and put all your rss feeds in it, then go to Tools|sage and they show up on the left.  Click on one, and boom -- page full of news updates.

Another update: the forum RSS now works with Firefox's live bookmarks.  If you have the latest version, you might notice a little orange box in the lower right with "RSS" on it.  Click on it and subscribe, then your bookmarks will always show the latest topics.

Nope, no rss feeds for the new forums yet.  I haven't done any modding -- just got them up and running for now.

Ok, turns out SMF DOES support RSS feeds as a standard feature.  Here's the link:

After looking at it some more, I think it needs to be type=rss2 to work with rss 2.0 aggrigators:

I still need to get the news RSS up and running.
