Presents for Parents?

I always have a hard time figuring out what to get my parents for Christmas.  Any suggestions?

what do they like.
you can never go wrong with jewlery for a mom. one with your birth stone is 100x better at that. then for your dad movies? shirts? socks? dont know what he is into

my mother enjoyed her stub nose .38 special  :-\  ..my dad did not  >:(
go with bath and body works ......a winner that is not to expensive
