Global login not working

Help ok so i downloaded build 18 and i made an acount here, then i click on the game and i follow the global login guide but it says login failed. can anyone help me???

Make sure that you add your profile to the in-game login.

When it says login failed hit the ~ button and see what the explanation is.

If you can log on on the internet try changing your password and then see if the new one works.

Are you able to log in to the website (http://dplogin.com/)?  Make sure the name you're using in your profile is the same name you're using to log in to the website.

I can't log in. when I press "~" It gives me ERROR: NET_SendPacket ERROR: WSAEINVAL to
(IP Address here)

Any help with that?

I already made sure my firewall was open to this.

I'm having the same problem as the original poster. Spent over an hour trying to get it to recognize the fact that:

1. Yes, I am using the right password. You are just being a prick, Paintball.

2. I want to uncheck the save password box otherwise you fill it up with infinite spaces and then refuse to recognize it.

3. I want to change my name, so stop putting me back on the same one over and over again.

I finally gave up and am seriously considering uninstalling this game, because what's the point of having a program that refuses to run?

OH NO! You're going to UNINSTALL the GAME? What are we ever going to do!?

Other than that, you caught us at a buggy time. The global login hasn't been implemented for very long, and it's buggy, but there are just a few who can't get it. So, I'm pretty sure you're just doing it wrong.

Someone's bitter... but that's something you should always check. Speaking of passwords, try changing yous, as kilo suggested.

Err, that's just your saved password. Not spaces. Either way, it's your choice.

The menu system is kind of really bad at textboxes right now. Use the console to set your 'nick' for good, by typing 'nick *yournamehere'.

Ever since I've updated the new verision. I've been having too much trouble. I'm thinking about quitting since this problem irritates me.

Right now logging in is buggy, not because of the global login system, but because of the menu system, as I've already said.

Build 19 should fix this.  Give it a shot once it's released (or find the version I have linked on the forums in the meantime).
