Eh, that's a q2 bug I need to fix.  Delete the map, quit the game, then try again.  For some reason the old checksum stays in memory even when you download the new map.

You can't delete files from the game.  You have to quit and delete the file (summer.bsp).

DT: What do you say to playing summer at next week's pickup?  How well would it handle 8v8? :)

Did not think you could delete map then quit game ???

Wierd thing is sumer.bsp in not in my pb/maps folder?

Its starts to download like as if i have the bsp, starts loadind textures to server then crashes.

Thanks tacosmell , bet map huh, in my opinion eastwood is :)
Actually Antioch is a top 10 for me

I have never been able run/play this map and others  (some of ruiners for example) since early 2002 before alpha?

DT: Maybe we'll play it as the second map after the wankers have dropped out. ;)

loial21:  Ehh, how is it even loading if it's not downloaded?  Maybe somebody put up the wrong file and it's not called summer.bsp?  You might try sorting your maps directory by date and see what the most recent bsp file is...

grrr that is what is so fustrating .
i have several pb/maps folders from yeach year from 2002-2005 ,
is there a way that its reading one of the older folders that is not even in the pb  folder ?

I noticed this also when I play WOD some of my binds dont default to pb, the only time i can get them to default back is by typeing set game WOD? wtf :(

Each game has its own config file, and thus, its own binds.  If you change the game while quake2 is running, there is a bug that will make it overwrite your config file with whatever mod was last loaded.  I suppose if you have a summer.bsp in your baseq2 directory, it could cause problems.

Why don't you just upgrade pb2? :)
