moves by itself!!!!

everytime a game ends my character starts moving to the left by itself and in the next game keeps going until i exit and enter again.

this started as something very rare and i didnt gave importance to it, but now it happens all the time.
can anyone tell me whats going on.

yeah that happens to me when it wants me to vote for a map but it goes away when im done

it happens to me also when i vote just that when i finish it still moves.

maybe it is because i usually hit esc when i have to vote.

You probably have a bad keyboard.

Is the voting screen the only thing that causes it?  See if you can reproduce exactly how it happens.

Edit: this isn't a win98 thing, is it?  cobo/agent, what OS do you use?

no its not 98 thing i have xp. idnt really care about it cause it happens befor the game and after.

I have win2k and I get it.
What happens to me it seems is...
When a game ends, if i'm moving in some direction as it ends, it seems as though the character continues on in that direction (but sliding along i think)...then when the next game starts the same movement continues.

I just always hit escape a time or two and it clears.

I'll look into specifics later.

Are you using the arrow keys for movement, or does it happen with any keys?

Edit: ok, I've been able to reproduce it.  Seems it only happens with the left and right arrow keys.  If I hit the key again, it stops, though.  You shouldn't have to exit and reenter the game -- just tap all the arrow keys.  I'll fix it for the next release, though.  Thanks for the report.

Edit2: Ok, I can see how after switching maps it would keep moving in one direction.  Simply drop down the console and type -moveleft <enter> -moveright <enter>
