Looks nice. I'd like it if there was a red flag, too. ;)

If you were to split the map more... make it be more like two paths....

OR make an upper way out/into the base?

I still think you should do a little path up behind the flag, kinda like in roundup (though a little less maze-like).  Make it so you don't have to leave yourself completely open in order to grab.

That type of stuff increases the gap between new players and experienced players even more, though.  Also, you still really have one major entrance to the base -- both paths converge, so having an extra path around to the back of the base would add a lot of gameplay value, I think.  And you really need to start using a better map editor :)  or at least a different strategy for creating terrain/rock that doesn't give VIS a heart attack.

hmm i dont think that creates a gap between experienced and new players. the new ones can get to flag while the experienced can do the jump. the new so others do the jump and try to learn... i wouldnt know how to do half the things i can do if i didnt c others do first.

DAMIEN: crate jumping is slow and tedious when you're new to the game.  Some people don't have the time to learn the trick jumps.  Some people have been playing for years and still can't do them.  DirtyTaco has a bad habit of putting anti-newbie stuff in his maps.  Having small shortcuts is fine, but you shouldn't be put at a severe disadvantage if you can't do them.

DirtyTaco: Sure, map sources are always good. :)
