Yeah, after the contest I still don't know who the winner is.

I have even left for a week or two and still no winner!

It is supposed to be over, but S8NSSON and FourthX need to get their act together or this will never end........

I think you should just arbitrarily appoint someone as the winner.  ;D

It's interesting to imagine that the results are THIS close that 2 judges will determine the winner.

And the winners are...

1. COI by Dagless & Reed (20 Points)
2. Mixer by Termi & Spook (12 Points)
3. Piped by Krewzer (11 Points)
4. Leg by WarWulf (10 Points)

Results In Detail

Aesthetics Vote:

COI (by Dagless & Reed)       27         50.94     5
Mixer (by Termi & Spook)      18          33.96    3
Piped (by Krewzer)            3          5.66     1
Leg (by WarWulf)              5          9.43     1

Gameplay Vote:

COI (by Dagless & Reed)      32         65.31     6
Piped (by Krewzer)                7         14.29     2
Mixer (by Termi & Spook)       6          12.24     2
Leg (by WarWulf)                   4          8.16     1

Technical Results:

piped - 9 (good overall, but a few small things that need tweaking)
coi - 9 (good overall, but a few small things that need tweaking)
ub_leg - 8 (decent but simple structure, couple issues with doors and other details protruding from the walls)
mixer - 7 (several misaligned textures, lack of detail, poor lighting, high r_speeds)

The point system had to be changed when we found the !mapvote bot did not use our system of voting. The overall positions were not affected.

Fantastic, we're very pleased with the results!

I hope next time even more mappers enter, the coolest part of this contest was seeing everyones different take and ideas on Urban/Industrial themes, so more entries, more ideas!

Will there be a post about the technical judgements specifically? The post mentions some tweaks, so we'd love to know what they are and maybe improve on coi some more.

Wow what a joke.
1st was rightfully given to COI.
2nd should have gone to leg.  It was by far better looking than the other two maps. (Especially Mixer)

Anyways next time run it so it's not such a popularity contest.
