Somebody there were asking if somebody have demos with blitz or digi, It is some time I played with Blitz (at his server, so there were lags for me cause I'm a European player, anyway his skills are almost unbelievable as Xbain sad). Just click on that link and in browser click on the same url which will be big and download that demo file and copy to C:\Games\Paintball2\pball\demos and then start the game DP2 and click on Play Recorded Demo;-)

Why do you all care about the best Player of DP2?

What is the best player against a good team ? - nothing

In my opinion, you cant say player1 is better than player2
maybe player1 got a lucky day or/and player2 a bad day
maybe player1 likes pp1, player2 c1
maybe , maybe , maybe ...

The best player of the world is nothing against a good team.
Maybe one of you will open a new thread with the topic Best Team of DP2

Somebody can be interested at playing 1on1 where you have to rely only on your own experiences and your skills, and do not need a team recon, like me. On the other side, someone can be interested at playing in team game which is mostly established on very good team work... It depends at about ourselves.
But Viper has right, it is too hard to say, who is unambiguously "the best". For example: There are three players (A,B,C). Player A is generally the weakest, player B too much rely on his offense skills (which are very impressive) and player C is just good (he is good at defending and well know what offense mean but his offense is not so good like B, and he is mostly using brain when he playes)... So, player A is raped by offensive player B (no chance here), player B is raped by player C who playes really smart, and player C can be owned by player A because he is too self-confidence and playing style of player A make player C so nervous that he offen can not hit excrement... So that are my discoveries which I see quite offen, you can not say who is the best :-)
But my opinion is that player C should be the best;-)

It's hard to say definitively who is the best I've ever played against. My view is always going to be tainted since I played primarily before this inception of DP and its heavier focus on even more speed with "jumping" tricks as opposed to the more grind-it-out style of the original quakeworld, Q1/q2 versions. Then taking into consideration the fact that there was a much bigger ping difference back then between everyone, it makes it more difficult to judge really.

Calrathan, Razor, and Murdock always gave me fits in public or during matches. I learned how to play a lot of maps by dying and then observing those guys; Razor always just destroyed me on Splatterhouse and the two Splat/Smurf guys taught me how to play maps like Pforest the hard way. To try and not be so old, I've always felt that Fryth never got his due as being a really top level player and oddjob was really amazing - it's amazing what people take for granted now oddjob was one of the first to do, in certain jumps and things like that. Those guys are the ones who really stick out in my mind as being "the best" from what I remember. I also have heard a lot of stuff about Zoogooz and GWB with allegations of cheating and everything, but I always felt unless they were doing it the whole time from Gotcha! onwards that they were still extremely good and right up there with the best.

I don't think I've ever played in a clanmatch with a lot of the teams like CC and ereet, so I can't talk much about their skills. I know from pubs and previous times I've come back that dystro has always impressed me and Aztec never seems to have a bad day on the public server.

1. Shad up.

2. Complie a fair script that encompasses all generas / facets of the game.....

3. Release it for dp forum consumption and code the gui for hall of famers

4. Cant do that? Go to 5 or 1

anything else is a scape goat.

You want to remove/standardize all console commands to flatten the playing field, and you're saying everything ELSE is a scape goat?

For the most part, I think binds are much more a matter of preference than skill/ability. The only setting I can think of that affects gameplay in any way is hand, which is admittedly very useful.

EDIT: I think this is my 4000th post. Yay me.

Right now i think loony is the best player he owns whether it is a mathc or in a pub server he owns
