To have 2 map format. The one love by the noobs ( With CO2)CTF. The one loved by the pros ( Without Co2 )1 Flag. Both would be in fact CTF. but only different spawns

hes saying that the ctf mode would be the pro version, while 1-flag is ctf with co2, so the flags and bases are set to gamemode 24, while the co2 is only set to 2

Hmmm. Im a little confused.

I think ill just make two versions. After all, it would just be extra mucking around for a match if they forgot which setting it was, while they could easily just pick out

Just like to say Thank you to jitspoe. It looks way better thanks to your tips!

I did forget to fix the co2 for red. Some of them dont spawn with co2. I'm sure there is something else wrong because i lost the original beta 2, so i had to start from beta 1.

Thanks for all of your tips guys. They have been extremely helpful!

Um... I havent had any comments on this for  4 days now... What else should i do?

There are some weird incongruous brushes dotted about, usually ramps, etc...

marth and magal could probably have put it more tactfully, but I think they might have a point - this map is ok, but I think its about as good as it's going to get. I think you might find it more educational and fun to start a new map with the skills you've learned which addresses the inherent problems this map has (large mid section with high r_speeds, etc...) and builds on the strengths (fun jumps, etc...). Also, it seemed to me like a bit of a copy of back2back/pbcup/xbmap1, etc..., so try and come up with a totally new and exciting idea with all the cool things you learned how to do this time round.

Also, me and vod are altering boxed 1, and completly ditching this version. I agree, its not very good. So me and him are working on a way better version. Instead of one opinon its mine and his... Which i think is for the best

Yes, i realize in the past i have made a boxed 2, and it was completely different (more so)  than this version. The main thing i wanted to reach was cleaning up the extremely ugly textures. I hope that i have done that. Also, i have added a low, and tried to spice it up with the lights :P.

Terrorist - Yes its is playable with 26 FPS. Thats the general FPS i get at my moms and i can play any map with it. Haha, and yes. I do need to take my screenies with a lower FOV, as i play with a very high FOV.

Pirate - Every jump that you have pointed out is possible. As for the one across mid from base to base, i made it harder so it actually takes skill to hit the right... spots.

But... iv only seen a few people hit the jump that you were trying in base.

Hey Silly,

From the screenshots I would have to say that the mid is a lot more playable without that merry house there.
As long as you have a better/easier way to get/find air then you shouldn't have to many problems with gameplay.

actually, i added air. I thought of the pro's and con's of a larger map like this (because of the low) that people should spawn with air, but it does not start off loaded.

Or perhaps your right, don't let people spawn with air, but make it MUCH more accessible.

Also, I do not intend to be offensive or mean when I say it, but

REMAKES OF CRAP MAPS ARE WORSE CRAP!

Please don't take offense to that.  You should take you mapping skills and create something new.  Not a remake of a terrible map.

well, to be hounest, i dont care. You barley even play the game so i take no offense. The reason why i am making a remake is because i wanted it to be better, and i also stated that there was a previous boxed on the first post.
