I've been running a Dell 228WFP 22" widescreen monitor at work and absolutely love it. 1680x1050 crisp and clear. The only drawback was no built-in usb ports and the stand did not elevate but was fixed.

I had to buy another monitor for a new pc so I called my Dell rep.

Sales Rep: KnacK, have I got a deal for you!!
KnacK: (drooling all over himself) whatchya got?
Sales Rep: the New ultrasharp 22" widescreen came out today!!
KnacK:(sporting some serious wood now) mmmmmm secsi, how much??
Sales rep: SAME PRICE AS YOUR 19" STANDARD MONITORS!!
KnacK: OMFG GIMME ONE!!!

The biggest thing I noticed from the othler model is that its so fregging bright!

Anyway, I had to share. It will be the best present I get this year.

thats so hot knack, i just got a new display for my laptop and really noticed that its like 100x brighter than the old one. New monitors are always fun though :-)

but you know whats bs tho? i have a dell dimension E310 desktop and i watched this review video on it online, and when the guy takes the side plate off he says how there is two pci slots but I cant put in a videocard. So now im running this intel POS integrated graphix card and my parents wont buy me a new computer. does anyone have a E310 and know for a fact you cant put in a graficks card? And if you cant what are those pci slots for?

If you have unused PCI slots then you should be able to put a video card in.

Edit: Okay. Just looked at some pics of the inside of and E310 and yeah you can definitely put a video card in if you have the open slots. Also note that there are only 2 PCI slots and they may already be in use. If you post a pic of the back of your tower I can tell you if they are in use or not.

The bottom one is in use but the top one is free. I would like to know what is in the bottom one though.

ports? ummmm its somthing, maybe my POS graphix card but it is in a standard pci slot

The only thing that *might* help is an old pci vid card.. That means a 4 meg or 8 meg card.

I looked and even I dont have any more of those lying around.

4 or 8? I have a 9200se PCI 128 mb a foot from my desk

I have a few PCI vid cards. Not sure how large they are though. Think at least one of them is 32mb.
