The 'edit' only works with values over 1026 or below -1026, as far as my testing shows. Hope this helps jits.

I can wholly understand doing it once on the servers, but doing it multiple times?

Plus DaRK'Kakashi crashed ours as recently at 6pm today, knowing full well what would happen.

I apologize. I just crashed a GT server. Someone told me the wrong integer for the exploit and I tested it on my server -- didn't work. I tried it on GT's server -- no work, but then someone gave me another suggestion, and it did work. The server was empty though (which is why I chose it). I tested it on my server right when it was at the end of a round after having alerted everyone about my test.

Although I just got a PM with the right integer. PM came a little too late. :P

Again, sincere apologies. I was skeptical.

Someone just crashed my server, but that's a good thing, because that reloaded the command permissions file for me. :P

Two people who connected right before it crashed:
Code: [Select]
[12:53:34] versus connected [82.39.134.103:13113]
[12:53:36] miklman connected [69.63.60.207:5999]

It was me who crashed the server.  (Miklman)  Sonny had told me the interger and I was testing it out.  Hope it didn't cause any trouble.

In my case, it didn't, since I have it on auto restart and the commands file needed to be reloaded sometime. BUT, you could have tested it on an *empty* server, if you were so curious... or even your own local server. My server was packed at the time.

the most of them ,who crashed a server , are sorry about that
So am I,
gotta apologize, espacially to Reed. viper told it to me and of course i went to try it out on several servers and making fun of it, like the others did, in fact it wasnt funny at all.
I hope u are able to overlook that.

It caused trouble if you did it on a server with people playing on don't you think?

Well seeing as no one can contain this discovery, everyone can consider themselves perm-banned if they "test" it on any of my servers.  I'm going to be auditing all server crashes until this gets fixed.  If you're looking for some harmless fun, type in a zbot command and play until you throw up.

100% agreed, this goes for the DarkP server too.

and thanks for the heads up XB on the intermediate fix :)

Everyone can consider themselves warned for ANY server.

Or the much simpler way: commands.txt.
