How do you downsize the hud?

On the computer downstairs computer all the hud (including the PLAY SETUP QUIT screen) everything is much bigger on this computer than on the downstairs one. Is there anyway I can downsize everything (not the actual screen itself, but the HUD and the messages). Thanks. P.S. I did search for this but couldn't find a solution. Thanks.

It's either the game resolution in the video settings or the cl_hudscale setting (Hudscale in one of the menus, maybe the video one too).

cl_hudscale 2
cl_hudscale 1

I think 1 makes it the small size
