Starting the NPPL, for dp2

Hey, I wanna start a league based off the real pro league, the NPPL. I need alot of people to help here though. Basically, i need mapmakers, to make good speedball maps like hawiian speedball, cept bigger to accomodate a 7v7 format, Teams, teams, teams, and more teams. Names will be based off of real proteams. And I need a webmaker to make a website for the league ( can be freewebs or geocities, doesnt matter to me).This game has so much potential, i feel like it could support this type of format. Maps should be center flag. My aim is  NOFXBRIGUY1  and my email is p8ntchild@msn.com  Please contact me if you can help me get this thing running. Like i said, it has great potential.

hmm i doubt there are enough consistent teams/players to make it or even keep it going. have fun and good luck with that though :p

Speedball maps wouldn't work very well for 7v7.  Anything more than 4v4 and they get to be too crowded.

We're not trying to flame, it's just that the game isn't super realistic (face it, that'd be boring) and does not necessarily lend itself well to realistic-style tournaments on maps modeled after real fields.  Everyone would just jump on the bunkers, there wouldn't be enough cover, and you'd be able to get from one base to the other in half a second. :)

The thing was, if you had more people shooting paint in lanes  everywhere, then people would be forced to take the game a bit slower. And just because you cant nesscearily run like a goon all over the place in this format like everyone else doesnt mean its boring. Its just different.

I designed blitz.bsp (in 8th grade) based on a real-life speedball field with mesh bunkers that you could see through. Clearly though, slowing it down with shooting lanes becomes non-existant above 2 vs 2.
