Open console and write "vid_restart". (or change video drivers)

Is this the result of a new driver update?  What have you changed recently?

I didn't install any new drivers.  Unless they installed themselves, I don't think they did though, dp worked fine, then I get that when I tried playing.  Beats me.

Does this happen every time you play now?  Do other games work?  What video card do you have?

I have an 8800, and no problems here.

EDIT: Just updated to the absolute latest drivers. Still works.

Still trying to figure out what's wrong with this.  I can play all the other games fine.  Urban Terror/Css/Cod4/Crysis/Warsow, without any problem, it's just Dp.

Does this happen on maps that don't have water and/or dynamic lighting?  Open up oddjob.bsp and do a vid_restart and let me know how it looks.

I just downloaded the new warsow and urban terrror, I can't play either of them either, is there anywhere where I can dl just openGL drivers?  They're all updated and stuff, but the only game i can play right now is CSS.

Uninstall your current drivers completely and try Older drivers (these ones are from november) or unreleased Beta drivers. Haven't read the thread, so if you already tried that... oh well. The old drivers are probably a guarenteed fix (if not the november ones than the may ones might work), but it would be better for you if the beta ones worked.
