Ok.  Looks okay for a first map but some of your texture chooses are old.
SS1:  Looks odd with both ceiling and walls being brick texture.
SS2:  Ladder is way to big.  Looks odd.  I think the textures should be rotated too.
SS3:  Ceiling should be different texture then the walls too.
SS4:  Blue wood texture should be rotated 90 degrees.
The castle looks nice though.
SS5:  I think this would look better if you don't need to crouch to see through.  Campers dream to be crouched looking through there.

You might also want to change the player spawns so they all don't spawn on the object in SS5.  Spawn campers could just spray that and hit multiple people at a time in the speed servers.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but looking at Garrett's scerenshots, LIGHT YOUR MAP! :<

I don't see why people don't think "oh excrement! my map looks like excrement!" when they don't light it.

I didn't want to mention the lighting thing because with the amount of things I mentioned, I didn't want to come across as being a male body by correcting every mistake.

Lighting is probably the bigger thing. Even so, you just need to click a different entry under Export; it's not a hard suggestion to implement.

I thought if you just release a non lit map, the map is just a black map ingame... guess not.

Well he does have sky. Adding the few lights wouldn't be exactly rocket science. It's more important than realigning or changing a few textures, although the most important is the game play.

Why do german pub newbies constantly make one map, release it, it's terribad, then never even read any guides on mapping.  Honestly.

Questions we will never know the answer to...
The only excuse can be is that they can read them because they aren't very strong at reading English yet.
We should combine on of the 'How to Start Mapping' tutorials into one big one and have one of the bilingual members of the forum translate it.  Long and hard process but can help stop the '10 topics like this a week' from starting.

Why can't you light your map?

Error? Warning? Black map? etc?

Or just don't know how to add lights?

Start simple.  Make a small room and figure out how to create lights.
