This is an AIM chat that just happened. I copied and pasted. Sk89q is sk89q, me is me. Hardly cryptic.

Okay, so you haven't been tracking the development section much lately.

He's the one who wrote the feature vote system? He was the one in the process of writing a stats tracker that is reportedly very effective? He's the one running one (probably the) the most helpful dpball resource/map databases? The guy that's been consistently positive and helpful? You know, him.

He has not been consistently positive and helpful. sorry to burst your bubble. the kid tried to start crap with me numerous times, and i time and time again OWN3D him.

PEACE OUT SK89Q , SOOOOOO SAD.

In addition.. Is there anyone that "fully" likes the community... hell no. It's like asking elementary kids and college kids to get along. With some middle schoolers mixed in there. It just doesn't happen. (Unless that middle schooler has some nice titties)

What do you mean close? This excrement is already dead. Thanks to the committee banning half the active community.

Okay, we'll just say 'the most positive and helpful member of this community'.

Obviosuly he's not that positive if he's running away because he "hates" the community.. I mean I can't remember a time when the community was ever that great.. maybe before he came?

Now you're just nitpicking over words. He was great, you are not. The fact that he's left is a shame.

Even a positive person would get the hell out of here.

!Pish de chuss en de yom!

Oy vey, I can't believe the attitude some shvuntzs have toward someone like sk89q, oy, benemones, this guy stepped into our community *gasp* to HELP, can you believe it?  He did more for DP in his short time then either of you ever have, consider that.

This is why DP can't have nice things, exactly, a guy launches a resource site, codes his ass off, develops useful stuff, provides mass amounts of effort and time (which I'ma sure he has not much of) and you people have no idea who he is?  Incredible, I'm sure it was all worth it to him.  Thanks guys.

the kid tried to start crap with me numerous times, and i time and time again OWN3D him.

Why do you bring your dreck here?

WATCH OUT, HE'S DONE MORE THAN ME.

You don't even know what I've done over the course of what.. like 8 years in this community. Maybe more..

Nowhere near as much as sk89q, that's for sure. As y00tz pointed out, sk89q was one of the people really pushing dp forward. Some here are actively trying to push it back.

You want to demonstrate how anything I'm saying is false in the slightest? I'd love to see it.

How many people use his little site? Not many.

Back when DP was dying for the lord knows how manyith time I ran a public server and a match server that was far more used than that site, I'm willing to bet anything.

And who here in this thread  is trying to actively push DP back
