Problems
« on: February 18, 2008, 02:23:59 AM »
1. When ever i run paintball and try to just write map <insertmapnamehere> it says: ERROR: Game Error: Failed to bind socket 10022.

2. Everyday several times it just suddenly closes dp and says something like this: Paintball2 stopped working, "The problem stopped program's faultless activity. Windows closes the program and informs if there is a solution available. Then nothing happens.

3. I bought a new computer and i have like 150-200fps all the time and my ping is fine too but i lag horribly. I used to play with laptop with 40-80fps and didn't lag much.

Also my tunnels look like this:

Any help?

No.  That just seemed to cause the error for some people.  I'll try to get it straightened out for the next build.

are you running 32-bit or 64-bit vista? also, are you behind a firewall, or have a router with a firewall built-in?

Lol.  I think b21 hates my internet connection and in the New GT Website (cant link it, computer doesnt like me) thread i showed what its never done until i installed b21.  Its really annoying.  Sometimes by a fluke you still manage to hit people.

Um, not really a related topic, but it looks like a network issue.  Are you on wireless?  Transferring files?  Running torrents?

Not on wireless, not transferring files and i only run torrents during the night.  Makes it to laggy when i run paintball.  I think it might have something 2 do with b21 because it never did that in build 20 or any earlier versions.  My dad when im playing it also uses a VPN connection from home.  Could that do something?

It's likely that could suck up the bandwidth and cause you to lag in-game.

So, anyone can help with my other problems? Are they caused by build21 too?
