Man, that was silly. It seemed to be mostly a 'Hey look, we can do cool first person stuff and CG! Wheee!' but what actually went down in the video itself was pretty silly at times.
Could have been very cool: Wasn't. I doubt it has anything to do with anything except an up-and-coming film guy, since they just ripped HL2 sounds.

Then valve has really, really lowered their standards.

It'd be interesting if they released HL3 and then went back to to HL2:Ep3, though.
