I will be working on some recent updates to the map and I think I will get a final version with all the problems fixed.
Just don't know when I will start it though.

I like the map but the base is too campable u should make a way from the high to jump on the first flag and u should make a 2nd flag with 3 points in the room where u can jump with speed in it (from low to high)

the map should get a chance

Thanks Mosez, I was thinking of finishing this map the other day.

I'll look into adding a 2nd flag and making it playable with a less campable main flag.

For it being a quake map and you re-making it into a dp2 map is awesome :) although like mosez said that flag is waay to campable move it? or just make another flag :D

I think this map looks pretty decent for a q2 remake.
I have already added another side path into main base and started making a 2nd flag room.

Nice idea Mosez, but I came up with a different approach.
Put a whole different path way to main flag and that connects to flag2 and flag2 room has multiple paths in and out.
Next beta in a couple days, depending on how much time I get to work on it.

Sorry for double post but wanted to show off some small minor mapping being done to the map adding a 2nd flag room and will have more paths into the base and each flag room.

on the third screen shot it don't look like you fixed all your face textures to red metal. like on 4th u have all around and 3rd it just top and half sides

PS..................Im talking about the doors...................SP

The M-shaped doors don't really fit with the concrete block texture.

Okay, I only made it look like that so it wasn't just a normal door.
But now I'm going to find a way to make a cool door.

I would suggest cutting a "square door" so that it matches up with the bricks.  Then in metal, add an "M" border.  Like the Old q2 doors where it had a trapezoidal frame :) Now you have an "M" frame :)

EDIT: I am speaking of the quake 2 single player door frames, just to be clear.

Ah thanks cusoman, I have a good idea for doors now.
I'll post the next beta in a couple days cause I haven't mirrored the new stuff yet.

Cant wait for this update, since i love both this and the original Slippery When Wet.

I also really like how you didn't just recreate the map, you completely designed it in DP style and added your own flare. The best kind of remake :D

Thanks, I was wanting to stick with the original Slippery When Wet layout but didn't think the low wet would be good for DP so changed it up a little and I have a lot more paths being added to main and 2nd flag rooms.
Beta to come soon.
