Problems Logging in (not the usual)

When I log in (have read the tutorials) sucessfully or what seems it, I don't see my player number when I type in players into the console. Also, it says that I need a global login thing to join certain servers and kicks me for not being logged in, when I did when i started up pball. It's starting to get annoying now that I'm starting to play on match servers and not being allowed in.

If you don't see your player number when you do players, then you aren't logged in.

Are you logging in right as you start the program?

yep, at least i assume so. I type in password, its says connecting for a sec, then just goes to the main menu

Try setting your name at the console without colors?

do i need the clan tag at the beginning or is it optional?

Tried name with clan tag at begginning and it works fine. I had the clan tag at the end ([DNX] policies, don't ask me) and it works fine (my player number comes up on screen)
