Ok, without meaning to come off as too confrontational, this is complete BS. I have not, never have and never will, used any form of cheat program. I have two family members who also play DP, but I'm offended that one or both of us should have to pay for the other's crap. Please, the last thing I need is a month-long ban for something I have absolutely no knowledge of doing, i.e cheating in this otherwise great game.

I've read the FAQ regarding family members, etc. but I really appeal to you to reverse this unfair ban, Jitspoe...

Sorry, but it won't happen. Go and tell your family member that they're a cheating wankstain. Also, pipex/tiscali is excrement, get a better ISP.

lol I agree about Tiscali being complete excrement, and as for whoever did the cheating, I'm going to beat the living crap out of them.

Is there really no precedent to have this reversed, though?? I can't believe I'm banned for a whole month, even though there are plenty of reputable players that can vouch for me. btw, is it actually known for certain whether this was actually done through the computer I own or whether I've by some freak chance inherited the IP address of another player?

I see. I find the inflexibility - and lack of address to my previous question - unfortunate and disturbing, to say the least; I am still quite a beginner, but thanks anyway for your time. Hopefully I'll be back in a month, if my smart mouth doesn't earn me a deserved ban... $:-\$

The problem is, practically every person who cheats always has a brother or friend who did it. If I removed the ban every time somebody said that, nobody would get banned. Part of the reason first offense bans are only 32 days is because of situations where multiple people share a computer or internet connection. It could be possible that you inherited the cheater's ip by a freak chance. I'll have to review the logs again.

Nope. There's only 1 IP address. Also, why does the IP only match your name? I do believe you that maybe your brother/family member did it, but shouldn't they have a DP login account?!

IF you would do your own search, you would noticed that Alaric does not have a gls, hense, when Jits did an IP cross check against the GLS it only came back with KaySL's IP address.

I'd like to point out that regardless of what DPLogin account is being used, if you're using the same connection in the same house to your ISP, your IP address will still be the same.

I know! That's what I was saying. (this has already been answered) So if your family members were cheating with their own DP Login from the same IP, then why didn't their DP Login account flash up on the cheat thing?

With ZGH you can't login, it's build 16.
