i just read through the ban list and most of the reasons for bans were ZGH multihack. we need some way to stop people from using this darned hack. (lawsuit??)

and I've never heard of a game to sue for someone finding a hack for it... LOL ppl are so sue happy nowadays...

The issue is not so much those hacks that are detectable as those that are not. The people using ZGH are processed quickly. Those using aimbots not yet detected automatically (or presumably not) are the ones that have recently raised more questions in the hacking threads.

What servers don't have that? All the ones that have ZGH hackers on them. ZGH is build 16 only, so if you can't let build 16 connect you don't have to worry about half (if not more) of the cheaters.

We can just tell them all to go get the latest Build. Alot of the servers already have it and you don't see many people coming in here. It clearly explains what has happened when they connect and can't play.

just give them the link to download the latest version...

should really ban people from using build 16... it's too old anyway or they're probably using 16 for a reason. Should make the currently requirement, min build 19.

People with those builds before 20 are still suffering slow downloads, like me on Linux. I dunno if you can use the server update for it but people with Linux are only up 2 Build 19. So yeah, you still need some support for 19 and maybe 18 if needed.

Already defaulted to 21 (at least for the next version). Servers are overriding the default.

Uhh, when does Build 21 for linux come out? Or does the server update do the same thing?
