Spoofing of names
« on: May 26, 2008, 11:45:44 AM »
So Knack asks the question about whether there is proof or not of Hellhound spoofing names and then proceeds to lock the topic...

If you do a simple view of his player profile you get this...

Names registered:   pancak3s, brigad3, 0lbaid, dystr0, j1gsaw, d1g1, bl1tz, d1rtytaco, tomvendett4, reaver

Looks like he's spoofing as many names as he physically can.

Is this issue being addressed by the committee at all? Seems like malicious use of the additional name registrations to me.

You're just jealous that he doesn't have a clever way to spoof your name, yet.

He could just use a different number, like y3j. There's a good idea for meph.

Yeah, Reaver wants his name back too, but no one will do it for him.

He wants it back now, but after he posted that he no longer wanted his name and gave it up, someone took it.  Now he wants it back.  That won't happen.

This issue has already been discussed and resolved in another thread.
